BLACK SUGAR BUBBLE TEA

How to Make Black Sugar Pearl Milk Tea at Home: A Sweet Treat for Women’s Day

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup tapioca pearls
  • 2 tbsp YTS Black Sugar 
  • 50ml water
  • 1 cup milk tea (using milk tea powder or brewed black tea + milk)

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pearls:
    • Bring water to a boil, add tapioca pearls, and stir until they float.
    • Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
    • Drain and set aside.
  2. Make Black Sugar Syrup:
    • In a pot, dissolve 2 tbsp of Ship Brand Black Sugar in 50ml water.
    • Add the cooked pearls and simmer until coated with syrup.
  3. Assemble the Drink:
    • Swirl the black sugar syrup around the inside of the cup to create a “tiger stripe” effect.
    • Add the pearls to the cup.
    • Pour in the milk tea.
  4. Enjoy:
    • Stir well and enjoy the chewy pearls with the rich, caramel flavor of black sugar!
