How to Make Black Sugar Pearl Milk Tea at Home: A Sweet Treat for Women’s Day
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup tapioca pearls
- 2 tbsp YTS Black Sugar
- 50ml water
- 1 cup milk tea (using milk tea powder or brewed black tea + milk)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pearls:
- Bring water to a boil, add tapioca pearls, and stir until they float.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
- Drain and set aside.
- Make Black Sugar Syrup:
- In a pot, dissolve 2 tbsp of Ship Brand Black Sugar in 50ml water.
- Add the cooked pearls and simmer until coated with syrup.
- Assemble the Drink:
- Swirl the black sugar syrup around the inside of the cup to create a “tiger stripe” effect.
- Add the pearls to the cup.
- Pour in the milk tea.
- Enjoy:
- Stir well and enjoy the chewy pearls with the rich, caramel flavor of black sugar!
